Great look you are going for. I hate that you sometimes write the longest posts but for some reason I find myself reading them all the way through and enjoying it Totally original

thanks man
i sometimes get to rambling when i type and give a lot of detail haha

anyway
another update

i found a carbonio intake for sale in the classifieds here and had to jump on it. i was looking for one for a while and decided to take advantage of the great price. thanks to eat.sleep.race for the quick shipping and smooth transaction!

everything went together smoothly for a snug fit and clean oem finish. i clay bar'd and zymol waxed which took a lot of the blemishes out from being previously used. has a nice mirror look to it when its all polished up. carbon weave is pretty nice too, ive had experience with many different carbon parts from a lot of different companies in the past and this is one of the better ones.

when i started it up for the first time, the ECU adjusted right away and it idled like factory.. no codes, no ses light.. nothing. low rpm's sound pretty much the same as stock airbox, but higher rpm is definatly meaner and a bit louder. you can hear the intake nicely with the windows up which gives a deep tone inside the cabin.

the car doesnt feel any faster slower, which ive heard is common to most aftermarket intakes. just sounds better in the higher rpm's. im sure if i paired this up with headers, 3 section exhaust, and software i would see some gains with it though. i didnt experience the stutter when launching as ive seen some people claim with aftermarket intakes.

the car still drives exactly like factory, the only real difference is:
1. louder in higher rpm range
2. improves the look of the engine bay

i love the intake, but honestly i just dont think its worth the $900-1100 dollars ive seen them advertised for. im happy since i bought mine for less so i dont have too much into it. if youre interested in buying one, definatly hold out until you can find a used one.
no way would i spend like $900 dollars on a new one.

dont buy new
if you can find one used at a lower price
get it for sure.

thanks man
a bbk would really bring your car together nicely.
i saw your thread showing off all the new csl parts you put on, i love the new look. pretty much perfect.
if cash is tight i think the csl brakes would work well on your car.

Can't wait to see the pics.

I think this bumper looks good on only certain colors; IR being one of them.

+1 on Jo from EuroDyne being a great seller, btw.
