Default Caliper Paint recomendations?

What brand/type do you guys recommend? I am replacing the fronts and rebuilding the rear brake calipers. I may powder coat the old fronts to see how they come out, but for now I just plan on painting the new fronts and rebuilt rears. What have you guys used? Ideally I'd like to pick it up locally, but if something is highly recommended that is sold online I won't be opposed to going that route.

Cheers

I'd paint them a lighter black.

black. Any autostore caliper paint will get the job done.

+3 on black. Back in my glossy red caliper painting days, I've always had good experience with G2 brake caliper paint.

I recently painted my front calipers silver while they were off the car and I went through a similar dilemma. I thought about using G2 paint but instead I bought dupli-color engine enamel. It was about $12 cheaper and could withstand the same temperatures as the G2 paint. That was a no brainer for me.

I have been using an OEM paint for exhaust mufflers that has been working great for years. Very thin, solvent based and can with stand extreme temps (over 850 C).

I would say it is similiar to a BBQ Grill paint or engine paint.

If you want to try and track it down here is the information:
Company Name: TouchUp Solutions
Lebanon, Indiana
317-769-4639
Name of paint:
Eberspaecher
KA-1555 HHS BLK

Not sure if they will sell privately or how much it would be.

+1 on the black too.

They make paint specifically for calipers that is black soooo I would use that as it's made for those temps.

Ok, I think I will go with this, do you think one kit will be enough to paint all 4 calipers?
