Come down to West Chester PA there is a new member on here that does detailing on the side. I have not used him yet but i have met him at the exton meet a few time and he seems to be a great detailer. I plan on taking my car to him in the spring.

Here is his thread

Im from the Downingtown/Exton PA area. I do most of my own detailing and I feel I am very anal. You really need to be careful letting just anyone buff your car. The clearcoat on your car is literally as thick as a sheet of paper. In letting someone near it or on it that does not have a paint meter or a very good feel for the things they are doing can forever ruin the clearcoat of a paint job forever. It really pays to do your research and take some real time to think through what your expectations are.

There are some people out there that really blow my mind. These are the people I feel merit this.

I would recomend 2 people pretty much exclusively in this area(relatively-within a days drive). They are all VERY professional and have done some NUTTY before/afters.( Read-not a 100 dollar detail.) I am very particular and everything these two guys have turned out has dropped my mouth and made me say "how?"

Phil Yiu-Detailer's Domain- North Jersey, also where I buy most of my detail supplies. Def. worth the drive. www.detailersdomain.com
Some of Phil's Best Work IMO:

http://www.autopia.org/forum/pro-det...ion-lusso.html

Barry Theal- Presidential Details- Manheim PA- http://presidentialdetails.com/
Some of Barry's Best Work IMO:

***Also- Oakes- The detailer mentioned above has done some VERY good details so far, he really seems to be stepping it up on correction. Most of his stuff seems to be at a 95% correction. Food for thought.***
