Default Does someone local wanna give me a hand with an M50 Mani install?

I'm located in Norton Shores, Mi. Area code 49441. I've got a lonely 12 pack in the fridge just waiting to be consumed during another e36 adventure.

Where are you in relation to Naperville? I have NO problem at all making a trip in the M if you're down.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. Damn, I'd almost be better off taking the ferry to Wisconsin, then going south.

Take the Ferry and then 41 down. Chicago tolls/traffic are not worth the headache.

im down if you are down.... I can get it done with NO lights, no issues in about 5-6 hours WITH a dinner break. I have yet to have an install go bad. What install kit you going to run?

(just did one on Saturday, and it took 5 hours and 10 minutes with a McDonalds/beer dinner break)

Well, I plan on getting a manifold just cheap on eBay. I'll powder coat it texture black depending on the condition. What else am I gonna need besides the manifold? I've seen the M50 manifold kits on m50manifold.com. IMHO that guy is out of his mind on price. As an experienced M50 manifold'er if you could fill me in on exactly what I need, I'll get the stuff. I'll add a case to the mix and we can do this damn thing!

It's a plastic manifold, so I don't know about powdercoating. Paint it if anything. As far as piecing a kit together, it would take a lot more time and work. I'd just buy the kit from Eric.. well worth the money.

if you get the M50 manifold cheap. the basic m50manifold.com kit with the modified M50 fuel rail cover is actually pretty nice. Everything is included, no back and forth to the hardware store, etc, etc. Custom made brackets are included in the kit, and the kit works VERY well.

like I said, 7 installs, perfect idle first time it's started, with zero codes...

IMHO the kit is worth every penny to install properly
