Default LED Trunk lights? Hrm ...

Just got a set of LED tail lights, and my OEM trunk pieces wont fit, from the OEM non-led tails.

Is there a separate piece i need to get and if anyone knows the part #, wanna hook me up? My trunk is a lil dark

TIA

-Eric

Should fit... sure your installing them correctly?

If im reading this right your going from pre03.5 reverse lights to post 03.5 reverse lights with the smaller clear section?

I did the same swap and they fit just fine. So i dunno.

Are you talking about the lights on the inside of the trunk that are directly behind the tail lights that light up the interior of the trunk?

What brand LED tails did you get? Most should come with the black plastic piece that covers the wires and has the bulb on it too....I don't believe you are able to get anything OEM wise to fit....

Yeah, your kit should have come with a new back piece with lights built in. You shouldnt be using anything from your original setup.

the reverse lights fit perfectly, because they still use the 'bulbs', the larger rear tail lights dont have the 'bulbs' so they metal carrier and electrical distribution pieces arnt needed.

i may have to order these back pieces. fail.
