After reading the different bits and pieces on install, it seems I should go buy the allen bolts and nuts to make this install work as listed from every other site.
Loctite, Allens, Nuts. Before I decide to trek out for this crap, anyone offer another solution to get the nutsert to crunch intself into the metal of that front axle member without doing this allen bolt method or does this seem to be the only way? The holes in mine didn't need clearing, fit right in. Looks like most"how to's"on this everybody does the same method. Appreciate anything. Even candy ![]()

Unless you have a tool for it, the only way is to compress the nutsert is via some sort of bolt/washer arrangement.

Yeah, I went ahead and went to Lowes and got the allenhead bolt, nut, and a washer to go thru each one with.
Thanks

I'm confused. My front subframe had nutserts in it already and the X-brace bolted right up. Is this not the case with some cars?

Lol.
Yeah, I have a 4/94 build date on mine. The actual 95 build dates, possibly from Feb on or something came with em in there. Luckily, I don't have to drill the holes, mine were clean enough the nutserts slide right in, just have to do the crush effect to get it to hold tight in there. Which i'll be doing today. Can't wait to feel this, everyone says u notice a pretty significant difference. I've been DD'n this thing for a year now.
