Default S54/euro motor swap updates

I was just browsing through BFC when I saw this thread in the engine swap section. Alex Lipowich, the man behind most euro motors here in the states is planning a P&P harness with supposedly "no cutting of wires" for the euro motors and S54.

here is the thread.
scroll down to post #6 for the gyst of it.
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...9#post17214309

also from his website.
"S50B30 and S50B32 Plug and Play Standalone System

This adapter harness will let you plug right into the factory harness of a stock 3.0 or 3.2 Euro motor, and add a DTA S100. We've become a dealer for this product, and the results are amazing. There is no need to modify the stock harness at all, and one can add FI at will given the preservation of almost all the auxiliary outputs. Hopefully soon we will be posting before and after dyno curves for stock motors as well as Cammed engines. Different stages will be available as well.

S54 Transplant Plug and Play

Initially this will be offered for E36 chassis cars, and the adaptor harness you get with the DTA will plug right into the chassis X20, provide Diagnostic port to retain service to ABS, and fully run the S54. No mods to the engine will be necessary other than to bolt on a bracket and assembly to delete the E-Throttle. Check in to the website for details as we bring this to market. Dyno tuning starts in the next couple of weeks, and customers will have a choice of a very basic map that is not safe for driving but would allow the engine to run at least to begin dyno tuning, or, a fully tuned map that is optimized already for stock setup from intake and hfm, stock ICV and retention of course of full vanos."

Pretty exciting if you ask me.

I talked with Alex extensively this weekend at Putnam (got a ride in his CM Euro powered race car too) about all this stuff as well. The plans he has for the s54 swap are sheer amazing

Wonder how much more a P&P S54 would be vs a B32
