Sad part is these are generic 3 series arms, so when I get oem m3 arms I will have to do it all again. As of right now I can't even drive my car, the arms on it are so messed up. It's depressing... I just want to drive!!!

Honestly, I'd hold off, then. Since you should really get an alignment after doing your control arms anyway, it doesn't make sense to do them twice.

as much as I agree with getting alignment's after any suspension change... the control arm mounting points are FIXED locations and "shouldn't" change the alignment, if any at all..

I'd be more worried about putting inferior non M control arms in my car

I know exactly what you mean. It sucks but I have to do it, it's only $30 for an alignment. I expect these control arms to last 2-6 months, by then i'll have the new oem ones and THEN it will hopefully be the last time. by then I will be able to replace them in like, 10 minutes correctly

I appreciate the advice and

I know... It's not exactly the best fix, but it's what I got until I sell my old laptop, I had planned on getting an evo 3 short throw with the money, but control arms are more important, I've needed an alignment since I got my inferior suspension put on It's one thing after another with this car, but I can't hate it. It's worth the money!

e36 m3's are definitely money pits.... especially when you start tracking them heavily... but the grin I get whenever I am in my car is worth every penny

Oh of coarse! no doubt about that, theres an autox this month in town where they block off 4 blocks and have you do your thing. I hope my car is ready by then, I missed it last year and don't want to miss it this year.

Edit:
New sig? looks AWESOME Oahu

I know it "shouldn't" change, but depending on how bad the arms were at the last alignment, putting the fresh arms in could definitely alter some things...

BTW, how did it go with Jordan's install this weekend?

Alright, I'm getting ready for the install now, I still don't really see any major differences between these new ones and the old OEM ones... Minus a bmw logo and a few holes... i dunno.. looks pretty much exactly the same shape and size to me... Also I cant get the broken bolt out... I might have to say f**k it and have 1 less bolt...
