Great video clip. With the large population of lifted trucks there are plenty to duck away behind down there, I had no idea if they felt like bustin our group for little things...

Yes, it's possible to create just about any type of skin for the VBox. When I get some time, I'll see what it takes to create my own set of guages and possibly a race track. The software already has track maps for Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, Laguna Seca...but not Thunderhill. I wonder what it will take to create a track map of Thunderhill.

I can create my own guages that use the CAN bus messages as input (such as RPM, gear shifts, etc.)

how much is a vbox setup? where does it get the speed info from? seems like the only thing missing is RPM info and gear...

The basic VBox starts at $500. The Video VBox is much more expensive -- starts at around $3000. With the optional CAN bus interface, you can get RPM and gear info (along with 20 other CAN bus signals) and plot them all on the graphs and/or videos.
