+1 Also agree on that. It's a great color combo.

agree, plus jet black is too common, you can see it everywhere with other brands' cars, CB is very different IMO.

JB looks nice... but nothing special. CB is way more unique...although it has to be polished and well maintained to look good.

CB in different light. My point is that CB looks very different depending on the lighting. The first pic I posted had CB next to JB so you can compare the two. CB is a great color as it looks very different depending on the lights

Not to continue the pissing match - but I really don't get what's so special about JB. It's black. Nothing too jetty about it - there's hundreds of cars that are "jet" black. It's just black. Carbon black is a little more unique in that it's got the metallic paint, and pretty cool that it actually clearly looks blue during the day and black at night.
Owned both, never got complimented on JB, always get complimented on CB. The only people that complimented JB were those that had it. OP - if it's your first M, go for CB. I always wondered what CB would be like when I had JB and how it would look 'different' under different lighting (purple/blue/black) - because JB is just plain black. Got CB - curiosity was solved, never looked at JB again. edit - here's a shot of muh ryd. |
