Any muffler shop will have a device for expanding pipes that should put those back round in about 2 minutes for $10. I'd look forward and see what could be done at a shop. Maybe there's more damage than shown in the pics, but if not, it should be minor to resolve.
I'd not want to have deal with it either, but people make mistakes. If you can get it fixed with less stress on your own than trying to get the seller to respond, you'll be happier, faster. This may not be possible, but take a step back, think of alternatives, and see what gets you where you want to be with this with the least stress and effort.

trully terrible, when my exhaust was shipped (RE ti) The seller packaged it really well in a huge box with plenty of bubble wrap/peanuts lol.. I remember after I bolted it on and fired it up it shot some peanuts out of the pipes haha. Sorry about your situation OP, hopefully you'll get the claim settled!

With an occupation relating to UPS/Fed Ex, the exhaust was not packed to spec to receive a full amount of $300/box. The shipper should have packaged the exhaust with bubblewrap and peanuts to keep 2" distance away from the wall of the box to prevent damage. Keep ALL the original packaging material, have the shipper file a claim to try and recover the $600. If they pay your claim, you get the $600 and to keep your the exhaust which you can sell or fix..hope this helps

Bro worst comes to worst just buy new tips or have the present ones repaired at a rep exhaust shop. Good luck and congrats on the baby.

what a nightmare.. unfortunatly this happened to me once about 4 or 5 years ago. only difference was i bought mine brand new.

it was a catback with one big single tip, for my old s14. there was barely any packaging at all and the tip was bent, far worse than yours. i brought it to a shop and they fixed it. i THINK what they did was just heat up the metal and put it back in place with a wooden mallet. like i said it was like 5 years ago so i dont really remember, but i do remember it was perfect when they finished. so i think yours are fixable.

No protection = very tough to go through with an insurance claim, simple as that. And yes, the seller needs to put through the claim.

Those mufflers were insufficiently packaged, for sure.

If you paid with paypal dispute it, or hopefully with a good credit card company that can help you out.

you pay for item, i get your money and agree to ship product, i damage product and ship it that way...i create claim, i get shipping insurance money + your money...you get damaged goods and no money back
