At one point I thought about trading for an avus blue one, but the dealer wouldnt discount the to be ordered car much so I didn't do it. I love everything about the car, but I cannot stand TiAg.... it looks silver/blue during the day and there are just way too many of them.

If you have an 04 and sell/trade it in for a brand new 04 you will lose alot of money. 5-10k. Depreciation is worst in the first year of ownership.

Sorry, I think the TiAg is one of the best color choices for the M3. Apparently BMW also thinks so since they advertise just about every BMW in Silver. But I think this is a very personal preference. I've had Black, Red and Blue cars before and they are absolutely gorgeous when they are cleaned and/or polished. The problem is, I like to drive my car as much as possible and I can only get out to wash/polish my car about one every 10 days or so (avg). The TiAg and AW are probably the easiest to keep looking good.

I also think that having Silver makes is a bit easier to resell. Albeit not a good reason to get it but it's a perk.

thanks for the responses... i was actually thinking that i were able to get a different color, what color i'd actually get... i used to love black on everyyy car, but this silver looks a lot cleaner and more luxurious. i also thoguht about the lsb and eb, which i lovee, but that may be a bit too flashy for my taste (i get enough looks for the fact that i have an e46 M). THanks for the responses again, im reassured that i love silver! but the fact that too many ppl have 'em is a reallyy big downside... but thats what modding is for!

I'll bet anything that silver is the most common color. But I think the M3 looks good in any color.

i have a dark steel gray and wish i had gotten the silver. if you look at the old commercials the silver looks timeless. anyone want to trade? got 19,000 miles, fully loaded (premium and cold weather package), with SMG II, but got only 18's on them; black leather. looking for a silver with black leather as well.
