Everyone has problems with this as I did too. It wasn't really a big deal tho, I shimmed my passenger mount to the body by about 1"(yes that much) to the point where the stud coming off the body just peeks out of the fastening nut. This aligned it almost perfect, I then just loosened the exhaust band clamps and rotated the muffler upward to fill in the gap left between the tips and OE diffuser and mines came out almost perfect.

As for the V-Brace, I shimmed that down by about 3/4" and the two braces in the middle(one of them bolts to the exhaust via rubber mounts), I spaced those down about 1/4" to pull it down and also put a washer in between the rubber mount and the bracket to try to lift it a bit higher in the tunell.

Everything fits flawless after all that tweaking. Overall the fitment was **** IMO. I've had cheap ebay stuff fit better. But for the price and what you all get I cannot complain too much, I was just surpirsed at how bad the system fit.

I'd take a pic of the alignment... But it's pretty self explanatory so.

Even over the stock system.. I can tell there is some low end torque loss, but mid range all teh way up is definantly faster. I know exhausts on these cars are not supposed to gain much, but it's pretty apparent when I can spin the tires alot more everytime now then before, even with a passenger.
Thank you for the tips (no pun intended)!

About the gaskets, do you use exhaust sealant too (that brush on stuff that hardens later), or just new gaskets? I bought two new ones for the front, they just look like big sculpted lead washers, which I guess will crush in there and give a good seal?!

When you mate the two flanges together with the exhaust gasket it will be quite apparent how much the gasket will compress when you see the gap between the flanges even with the gasket already fully touching both flanges before even tighening.
