Default Villeneuve Circuit in Montreal Open to Public?

I am going up to Montreal next week for work and am considering driving up there. Anybody know if the Villeneuve circuit is open to the public this time of the year? I am hoping the Montreal members can help me out. Thanks.

Even if it is I'm guessing you'll have to register in advance with some organization doing a driving event there and that the track itself doesn't just offer show-up-and-drive. So that would be a good place to start. But that's just my guess based on driving events here.

Its a bit different there. Its normally open to the public unless there is a pro event, i.e. F1, Nascar, etc. From what I have read, it has been open to the public most of the year. It just becomes a public road like any other, you dont even pay. I drove on it once and plan on doing it again this time, just wanted to have an idea of what to expect.

Oh, giant for me, I forgot that is a public road circuit. I'm thinking of a 'real' race track that is never opened as a public road. My bad.
