ok last night i was coming home from the track and my tires were bald and it was real foggy and dewy. i was doing about sixty and started sliding and next thing i know my passenger door is hitting a 4x4 wooden sign:facepalm.so i get it towed to my house and come out the next day to take a look at it go to try to start it up and it starts up then shuts off the only code it was throwing was maf so i unplugged the maf and tried it again it started then shut off again so i held the gas to the floor started it and the rmps jump all over the place but it would stay running as soon as i let off the gas it would shut off...does anyone know what could be causing this nothing hit the motor that i can seei looked undef the car but it didnt look like any wires were ripped out or anything like that....thanks

Have the car towed to a proper mechanic... and don't you dare pick it up until you get a fresh set of tires mounted on the car.

Is it done for then?
It could be a vacuum leak which given the code and the description would make sense.

The beautiful thing about my M3 compared to my 944s is that I fit seven tires inside the trunk and the car along with a jack, small toolbox, drill, cooler, etc. and I drove to and from the track in absolute comfort with room for a full sized passenger.
With just a roll bar in the 944 I had to remove the rear wiper to get four tires in the car and then it was practically impossible to get a passenger in the car.
