Lime Creek Road is no longer fun. I just went on Sunday and was taking the turns real slow because there were so many bicyclists trying to be Lance Armstrong. Some were riding two abreast on the road taking up the entire lane.

At the end of my ride, I was cruising along in 6th gear near the end when a cop pulled me over for doing 52 in a 40. I'll probably be taking defensive driving in a few weeks. Sucks. The cop said they are cracking down on people in sports cars and to "go play somewhere else."

Well, it could have been worse. Normally, I open it up near the end stretch. I still have my car at least, though I'm probably going to lose ~$150 and a Saturday on the whole thing. That was the last time I'm going there...

Damn, that sucks. I live RIGHT next to LC rd. I'll need to be more careful. Also the newly paved rocks SUCK. Makes me think they did that on purpose now...

Have to say that's one of the few things Houston has over Austin, bike riders here stay in the parks for fear of thier lives LOL! It's not like Austin where they report you if you drive within 50ft of them on roads constructed for AUTOMOBILES...

I gotta tell ya. I'm getting a bit tired of the bikes. It's not so bad in the winter. Come spring and summer...pffft. Don't get me wrong I love to ride, but I ride a mtn bike in the trails where the real warriors play...

So, the SA guys can make a Saturday early March. How about we do an Austin crew thing in Feb, and then meet up with SA in March?
