i used one of these in my old ford that had been sitting for a while, about ten min later, i couldn't get it to stop backfiring after i let off the gas...maybe it wa the old gas, but i just don't believe new cars need injectors cleaned.

If you are using 91 or above as you are supposed to, you do not need it. I do it every six months considering gas is not perfect.

Thanks for the video--I think I am convinced

Does anyone know what that tech is spraying on the o-rings/tips of the injectors before he installs them around 5:04? I could not get quite a good look but I do see the Wurth logo.

Edit: After watching it a few times, I saw enough to figure it out: Wurth HHS 2000. The HHS 2000 has been discontinued and replaced with a more EPA compliant formula HHS-K.
