Default Bought My First M3!

Just purchased a 2003 M3 convertible, carbon black/black, 6-speed, 19" wheels and wanted to make my first post as an M3 owner!

Car came with 25,500 miles and I paid $22,500. I searched intently for 3 weeks and this was by far the best deal I could find. If you agree, please reply. If you don't agree, don't rain on my parade!

I flew to Kansas City to buy the car from a BMW dealer and drove it straight back to Atlanta (12 hours). This is my 3rd E46 - 2002 330cic TiAg/Grey Step, then a 2004 330i ZHP TiAg/Grey 6-speed (getting ready to sell this car, will post on E46Fanatics.com when done prepping). Yes, I was determined that my M3 would NOT be TiAg or grey!!

Still working on my mod list, but here are the top items so far, that I will be researching (already started) and asking about here:

- Add ZHP shift knob and then consider an SSK (the stock shifter in the ZHP is really superior, as most of you know!)
- Get a hard top
- Add satellite radio and bluetooth (already has OEM Ipod connector)
- Replace or repaint interior trim (has original dark plastic trim that has a few nicks)
- Add lumbar support (I am 47 after all)
- CSL wheels

I am sure I will find other stuff along the way! No pics because the car is dirty from the drive, but it is totally stock now anyway.

See you around!

Congrats on the new purchase. Enjoy it! If you are getting a SSK, look into the AutoSolutions SSK. In my opinion it is the best, although a pain to install. Hardtop is also great, but you will have to be patient to find one for sale in your area.
