Unhappy Eagle Eyes LED tail light problem. Anyone else?

Had my EE LED tail lights I bought from one of the vendors for almost a year now, looks great! But honestly workmanship build is on the shitty side. If you also bought a set of these you know what I'm talking about.Recently, I've noticed some of the LEDs on the turn signals are not working anymore. Not a good look at all..

It's Sunday today so I won't be able to get in contact with the vendor about it. Wondering if anyone else had the same problem with LEDs on these EE tails going out, and got another set with no hassle?

I got my set about a yr ago and had no problems with the leds BUT the only problem was some water getting into the battery tray area due to not slapping some sealent on around the area, there was a thread a few weeks ago about the same situation your having, try and search for it. I'll be taking mine out this week and putting back my original ones, ill save up for some real OEM led tails. I dont want to deal with the water build-up issue nor if the day ever came to where some led's are out. Friend of mine also has the EE tails and some of his led bulbs are out, guess im lucky so far but hope this info helps and

Lucky yours still work flawlessly. Mine isn't sealed perfectly either along with probably most if not all EE tails. Although I dont notice any water leak or any water seeping into the battery tray. But maybe that's just because I live in an area where it rarely rains. You can always reseal your tail lights and should be golden. :thumbup2: Me on the other hand am looking for a replacement where I got mine from..

Im on my third set the vendor i bought from offers lifetime warranty. First set i got one side didn't work. The second after about 6 months the indicator stopped working. Summer time i will be getting rid of these and going OEM. I wish i listened to myself and bought OEM from the begining

The exact same thing happened to me, at one year post installation. No replacement or discount happened, and I contacted the vendor as well. The sponsor I bought from no longer sells the EE tails, I'm guessing due to all the problems. My stock tails have been back in since.

I sealed all the edges on my Eagle Eye tails with clear silicon sealant before I installed them. No leaks yet...knock on wood

Same problems. Noticed during our trip to 4ngiefest. Nothing you can really do apart from getting new ones. Also the fitment (gap to inner tail lights) is awful too.

It is a very common problem, when a resister on the circuit board dies, an entire row of LED's stops working. EE has a warranty of 1 year, so if yours falls in that timeline, the vendor shouldn't have a problem covering it.

*update*

Ok, so I've just gotten off the phone with the vendor I bought my EE LED tails from. They ask me to just send them back to them and they'll take care of it since it's barely under warranty luckily.

Now the problem for me is I've already sold my OEM tails sometime ago, and I don't have anything to replace them with while I'm out of tail lights.
