I am planning on buying the auxiliary kit from BMW for around $40 and I was wondering if anyone around the bay area ( I am located at the peninsula) has experience installing the kit and is willing to install it for me. I am willing to pay a fee just let me know before. thanks!

the aux connector is part of the NAV harness behind NAV unit. the bmw aux kit plugs in directly to the NAV harness. if your using DICE or any aftermarket IPOD/IPHONE adapter, you can access the IBUS connection in the trunk.

hey i meant to say i need the Radio Auxiliary Input Kit to be the installed, the one where you just plugged the wire into the back of the navigation and put the wires through the compartment. (not the dice kit).

can you post pics of the connector from the radio auxilary input kit. that will determine where it goes.. either behind the nav unit behind dash or ibus in trunk.
