There was a crack internally in my mirror, as well as fogging around the outside (see attached image). I contacted Sybesmas and filled out the order form which was sent on Monday. I received the mirror on Thursday of the same week.

They sent back the exact same model of mirror (with the SOS button junk, clown nose etc). I was for some reason expecting the oval without buttons, but this was not the case. I was very happy they sent back the exact same version.

It cost $98 after shipping. They included the return shipping label with the order as well. Great service.

These folks are great! Received mine about 6 days after ordering (weekend involved) and it was in perfect condition. Best deal out there and service that can't be beat!

E-mailed Stacy, hopefully they will send me new one soon.

2 questions. Did those who had a mirror with the "7" sticker have to send their original mirror in at all, or does that eliminate that step?

Also, when they send the replacement, do they send the plastic cover that splits in two which houses the neck of the mirror?

You always have to send back the defective mirror...but you can reuse the box they ship in and they provide a return label so no charge to you for shipping back.

And they do not provide the plastic cover that splits in two...you should be able to easily open it with your nails/small screw driver in the middle and it snaps right apart like a clam.

Man, I'm really sorry to hear this. Mine had the bubble when I bought it, but I did some research and replaced it before it messed anything up.

If only more people would READ THE STICKIES!!!
Buying or just bought an E46/M3 - what you should know

Even if you've read them before, it never hurts to check back from time to time for updated info!

Wow, Stacey got back to me within 5 hours of me e-mailing her. I e-mailed her at 1AM and got a response by 6AM! Called her up and it's shipping out the same day. This is some incredible service and it's not even a department that's selling parts but simply doing what everyone despises doing which is warranty work. A++ so far in my book.

I only drive my car on the weekends so it happened somewhere between tuesday and thursday without my knowledge. Probably wouldnt have been so bad if i could of cleaned it right after it happened but it sat there for 2 days. I have imola red seats so you can see some black specks and the smg dome cover is ruined. Does anyone on the forums wrap these with carbon fiber?

If BMW knows these things leak and are toxic why havnt they sent out a recall???

Once you email the form back, do you have to call her back or wait for the next email?

Thanks
