Default Dash Light & Window Issue

Hey Guys,
I did some searching and couldn't find anything specific. Last night after stopping to get some gas, when I turned my car back on the dash and climate control lights did not come on. 30 minutes later, while driving, they mysteriously come back on! Well this morning, they are not working again. Could this possibly be an issue with the dimmer switch, I'm not thinking it's bulbs as I doubt all of the bulbs went out at once..and that it came back on. Anyone have a similar experience?

Also my drivers side window goes up only if the window switch is pressed for a few seconds, and it does not completey go in the channel.

Thanks In Advance,

Dan

This one could be tough. Have you checked to see if you have a loose fuse? Does you climate control ever act up on its own (which could be a different, common and easily fixable problem)

My window motor starting doing this just before it went out completely. You may want to switch the two regulators just to make sure it isn't the switch, but it sounds a lot like what happened before my window motor went.

The windows issue can be fixed by switching to Linux

I don t recommend this.....waste of money

you can simply swap the left/right switches to verify if it is a faulty switch (much cheaper)....unless I misunderstood what you mean samon8ive....in which case, I should drink a glass of milk

Fuses are checked and fine. The instrument panel and climate control lights go out at the same time. My main reason for thinking it is the dimmer switch is that all the lights that it controls go out and come on randomly throughout the night. Has anyone had this issue and it be the switch?

well pop out the dimmer switch and jump it with a piece of wire and see if you still get the problem
