If only all GTOs looked like this, and it's a Holden version, not a Pontiac. Pontiac destroyed the look with their signature bumper and logo

My parents have a G8 GT. Nice car...feels heavy, but the kicker was Automatic only unless you want to spring for the GXP. Even with the little throttle blip that is programmed into the auto's system its still not as fun as a manual. (Price is probably going up on those rare GXP's since Pontiac is dead)

Pedders seems to be the big aftermarket suspension supplier and their are a few forums that have fairly decent following for GTO's. Its not that bad looking without the dumba$$ rear wing, but nowhere as sexy as the M3.

Plus, the gas tank is behind the rear seat. Go open the trunk and check it out.

My vote, M3.......obviously.

Even the Vauxhaull VXR8 trim looks better than the Pontiac bumper/logo.

(not like I'll ever buy one)

This one has always baffled me...
"HMM, how can we decrease handling and practicality at the same time... I KNOW, let's put a giant tub of slushing fluid as high in the car as possible!"
You can't fold down the seats or install a subwoofer... Really stupid...

The interior of the M3 is vastly better in every possible way. Considering you spend most of your time in the driver's seat, interior is very important in my book.

I've worked on many GTO's and many M3's, the M3 clearly has better build quality and smarter engineering.

OP, you're a few days late with your April Fools joke. Though props for still catching quite a few people with this thread.
