How does the Khoalty compare to the Umnitza Predator Orion V2? I know the V2 cost quite a bit more....

Any one tried the 82 LED angel eyes from Khoalty?

The 62 or budget ones still have that pearl necklace effect in real life. On a camera the rings over saturate the image and do not have the pearl necklace effect.

I ordered some last night. I'll see when I get them in. I did not want the pearl necklace effect either.

I installed mine over the weekend. They look nice. The only thing is I should have checked them very carefully before the install b/c one of them had 1-2 LED's fused?! Hard to catch but see attached picture.

Contacted the vendor and they are sending a new ring. I will have to go through the replacement. The thing with getting one ring replaced is that now I have to cut the wires. These come in pair of two joined together and provide one positive and one negative terminal.

Oh well! I am happy with the price and the vendor response time for a replacement.

Just a friendly reminder, check very carefully to make sure all the LED's work before the install.

I also think I might need to change my alternator, when the engine is running the voltage drop across the angel eyes is only ~13V instead of the usual 14.4V.

I wonder how much this affects the brightness of the rings.

I installed my angel eyes, however... the rings don't seem to stay very close to lens of the headlights. Is anyone else having this issue as well? or is this how its suppose to be? Also... the inner ring "high beam" seems to be covered a bit by the inner black shroud... other people are noticing this as well?
