I have the EAS Auroras. I think most LED angle eyes are this color.

The closest thing to OEM would probably be 3000K halos w/ a resistor or rheostat installed on the power line to dim it a bit. You don't really have much of a choice beyond that, unless you want to custom fabricate something yourself.

IMO the stock dispersion is significantly more appealing than all the aftermarket angel eyes I have seen.
Agree 100%

The OEMs, like the original E39 version, were a subtle, classy touch to the car. The super bright blue/white ones always look kinda ricey to me.

Those 4500k versions above are a step in the right direction, for my taste anyway.

i like my amber ones.. every e46 i see driving around has blue-ish or purple halos and ive never been into the whole blue light look.. i am always puzzled when people take their 4300K HID out and downgrade to 6000K and lose 1/4th of their lumens..

Back in the day, before LEDs, before CCFLs, all the aftermarket angel eyes were rings with lightboxes fed to them through fiber optic-- just like OEM. They were dim, problem prone, and had poor dispersion.

Ccfls were a huge reliability improvement, and LEDs were a huge reliability improvement over them.

I, too, am kind of over the whole DDE thing....
.

... I've been doing this for way too long...
