Its pretty gourgous and I bet It handles amazing!
Im just wondering what I should offer? first year e36 kbb is like 6200? I was thinking maybe 6500 and see what he says?
the coilovers alone are 1800 this would be a STEAL!

Im surprised he did all that.. yet didnt even euro the lights?
since this is the first year of m3 in the USA.. dos it have prollems?

$6500 for a beat to hell salvage title M3? Eh, I suppose some people would say go for it. If it were me and I had a bit more to spend, i'd scrape up the extra $3K or so for a clean title 96+ that's not half thrown together with missing pieces.

Ya I saw that its salvage.. I dont really understand why its that big of deal.. I no it was in an accident likely in the front, but I just bought a condo 'first place' soo I cant really go past 8k and likely more like.. this is in my range it has low miles its REALLY clean for Minnesota my 325i is pretty rusty, and if I got that car I would keep it till it dies.. soo the resale of the salvage wont be a problem..

steering wheel from normal E36 LOL

to be perfectly fair, the mods list is pretty good and seems to be an enthusiast (previous) owner. seems lik the guy who put the ad together didn t do some of the stuff

might not be a bad idea to at least go talk to the owner. Find out what the salvage reason is (might not be bad again) and get a PPI done.

If all the stuff he lists checks out and you're handy with a spanner, then it could actually be worth a look

KW V1 coilovers
FULL SuperSprint exhaust
Racing dynamics front and rear sway bars with adjustable end links (Velocity Motor Cars).
Racing Dynamics front Strut bar.
3.38 Gears (a very nice gain)
X-Brace
Camber Plates
Z3 steering rack
New Lemforder Tie-rod assemblies
Short Shifter
Cooling system updated (metal impeller water pump, fan delete)
Borbet Type T 17x8 wheels. Tires pretty worn. I have new ones on order, but the price will go up if they arrive before the car sells. (I have other high offset wheels that can go with the car if you want "stance." I also have two BBS wheels with snow tires [no, I did not drive it in the snow]. All sold separately)
DJ Auto headlights with 55W 5K HIDs, yellow lamin-x on highs, amber city lights.
35W 3K HIDs in Depo crystal fogs. Yellow Lamin-X.
Fenders rolled. (can fit 255 tires without issue)
Untouched ecu (I was the first to open the case to check)
Oil changed at less than 3K with high quality synthetic and MANN or WIX filter.
6" flip out Jensen DVD player. Alpine speakers in the front and rear.
Tint all around (was told it was legal for Indiana, so maybe 35%)
Black Kidneys
Drilled and slotted rotors (brembo, I think)
Stainless braided brake lines
(The cost of just parts in improvements total nearly the asking price for the whole car)

-The roundel is so sun baked, you can't even tell what it is anymore.

-Driver's seat leather is shot

-The car has a 328 steering wheel. Ie. the airbag won't work, ie, the light is on, ie. if you need that to be fixed to pass inspection, or want the car to be safe, you'll need a new wheel and an airbag reset tool.

-Door cards are literally thrown onto the car, all misaligned and barely in place. The driver's side doesn't even have the surround for the handle. I think I see a machine screw holding the PS one in.

-Airbag fired in the collision, I can see the misalignment in the passenger airbag cover (is there even an airbag in there now? ie. will you need to put one in to pass inspection?). This is why they replaced the wheel with the wrong one as well. Tells you how much care went into repairing the car correctly. If you're not willing to replace the steering wheel with the correct one and a functional airbag...what corners did you cut with the body and paint work?

-Door sills are regular 3 series sills.

-Spoiler is a bad aftermarket one. When they pulled the underpanel off to install it and wire it up, they didn't even bother to replace all the clips that hold it in place...again we continue the theme that every single thing done to the car is done half-assed and with *below* the minimum amount of work required to complete the job.

-What's up with the radiator shroud?

-The engine covers are from a normal 3-series. Are you sure that's even an S50?

-CAI looks like it was put together from a trip to Home depot and with a pair of scissors.

-No fender liners? Again, how many corners can we possibly cut when repairing a car.

-The rear end is completely dumped. I'd be surprised if the shock towers are intact and without damage.

I see a car that was in a decent collision, and put back together by a gaggle of drunken chimpanzees wearing blindfolds. I see some decent mods, but they're bolted onto a complete rat of an automobile.
