Default Picked up my replacement for my totaled LSB M3 last night.

2007 Z4 M coupe. sapphire black on black w/ aluminum trim + nav.

Bought from BMW Bellevue, same place I bought my e46 from 3 years ago and again they were awesome to deal with, and not just when I was there with cash to buy the car, they are great even when they know I have no intention of buying anything that day.

Buy experience was a little interesting since there were 2 other people there that wanted to purchase the car at the same time as I was driving it, so it was a bit like that vw commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kexMnMxN3U). But everyone turned out well for me in the end, sorry who ever the dude in the c5 z06 on LM's that was trying to get the car!

anyway here are the pics:

honestly... it kills it.

I don't know if its the short wheelbase, lower curb weight, different steering rack, or the fact that everything is just newer and less worn... but I don't think my e46 could've held a candle next to the mz4, it just feels a fair bit faster, turns in much better and brakes harder.

granted I did give up alot of utility but considering I had fixed back seats in the m3 for the last year which made the back seats pretty much unusable anyways, I just decided to go with the 2 seater, and its nice to get something different... I had finished what I wanted to do on the e46. I would've liked to enjoy it another year or two, but what are you going to do.

I paid $29,888. The car is CPO with 42k miles. Since bmw had dropped the price from 35k asking over the last few weeks, and there was 2 other customers waiting to buy the car on the spot, all I could negotiate out of them was 2 M license plate frames and a full tank of gas haha. oh well.

Awesome. I wouldn't mind going to a Z4 M as well. Maybe if I run across an Alpine white one with Imola.
