I personally think, you do get what you pay for. But when you are spending 750-800 bucks on a set of shocks and lowering springs, this makes sense to try out first. Yes they are cheap for c/o but for the 500 bucks it would be worth it. and if lets say they arent so good when they are on the lowest setting you can always just raise it back to stock or a bit lower then stock and get the same ride height you would of gotten if you were lowered on the Springs and Shocks. LMK how they are if you ( anyone else) tries these out OP.

Good opinions everyone, I am in the process of purchasing a set and will write up a review after the install.

I mainly want to drive the car for at least 1k miles and allow the coilovers to settle and provide feedback!

If anybody has any KW's, TCK, Tein, Bilstein or any other coil-over for the same price let me know!

1) all hardware is included.. everything is bolt on, nothing extra needed.
2) "V-Maxx doesn't disclose [spring] rates"

Would you be happy if every punk in your area could drive a M3 with Ohlins coilovers, ADV.1 Wheels, HPF Turbo kit and OEM CSL body parts ?

Me not.

Exclusivity is $$.
This doesn't have to be the case. I've been keeping up with the Porsche Cayman S on their forums as a possible next car and I'm still scratching my head at how TPC produces a bolt-on turbo kit for the Cayman S for $9k and it's fully proven vs. the far more expensive HPF kit for the M3, and the M3 has higher production numbers than the Cayman!

Also, anyone who thinks a lot of expensive research (beyond fitment) is going into bolt-on exhaust/muffler kits is kidding themselves.

Also, using OEM replacement Koni's with Eibach's isn't that much better than stock shocks since they are still the same length as the OEM pieces.
