Default ▀▄ eas | Anodized Aluminum V1 Radar Detector Holder

With all these meets and events coming around the corner, it would be nice to have a mount for your V1 radar detector!

V1 owners now have a solution to those problematic suction-cup holders that fall off your windshield

Easily affixed to your mirror with included set screws, our V1 mounts are BMW-specific, not a universal "one size fits all" application. This securely holds the V1 and allows a direct, level line of sight for proper radar detection and keeps it in place - even in the event of an accident.

Our V1 Radar Detector Holders are CAD designed and CNC'd from machined T6061 aluminum for maximum durability. A black anodized finish gives a quality design that is welcome in your BMW.

V1 Radar Detector sold separately.

Specifications:

- Constructed from T6061 aluminum, anodized black
- Sleek, non-obtrusive view of your V1's display
- Secures V1 in centerline of sight, offering optimum detection and non-obstructed view
- Fastens securely to mirror with set screws and can be removed at any time

Models Supported:

2000-2006 e46 3-series, including M3
1997-2003 5-series, including M5
2000-2006 X5
2004-2009 X3
2004-2009 Z4/Z4C, including MZ4/MZ4C

Great piece, but unfortunately probably about $20-30 over priced :O(

Otherwise I'd have just placed an order.

Just wondering, would these help prevent theft too? Its hard to tell by the pics but is there anything preventing someone from just sliding it off? I have a vert and Im concerned about having this mounted in plain sight if I leave my top down in a parking lot (which I only do for a few mins and only in "nice" neighborhoods).

i've had this for the past 2 years and it's been solid. i couldn't stand the suction cup marks left by the v1 holder so this was a perfect option. props to eas for this simple and elegant solution.

Nah it takes alot of patience to put his thing on bc it is size specific, the thief would spend a while in your car trying to unscrew the two Allen bolts on the bottom, unless they want it really bad and just snap your mirror off.

I have this, agreed on overprice, but great finish and and it does it's job well without suctions which is a big plus for me.

The screws will keep is secured in place - but if a thief really wants your V1, he'll take it by any means. Even it it means breaking your mirror.

Thanks Tom, I'll be ordering one in the near future! I just wanted to make sure there are some kinda screws holding it in so it just cant slide out. I know its still a risk to leave a V1 out in the open but Im hoping itll be less noticeable since it might look like its a part of the mirror... lol
