Wonder if we will get the Comp Package they mention at the end?

136k Euros? That price seems really steep to me ~ 170k.
At that price, I believe there are many cars that will outperform it in a line and several that will do so on the ring.

Currency conversions can't be taken literally when considering price speculations...

Even at a 1:1 conversion, that would be roughly $60k+ more than an average new M3. I don't know that I would consider the car a tremendous "value" machine, like the GT-R. That said, I would love to have one.

My statement was based entirely on speculation... Having said that, the GT-R is on another planet in terms of performance....

Assuming that the M3 GTS achieves 7:40 around the ring, which is entirely feasible.. That time would be quicker than cars costing more than double like the LP670-4... I guess we'll have to wait and see

I think it will be easily get under 7:40.

Right, but if you want a car that has already been tailored to the track, then cars like the R8 aren't as attractive. The GT3 is obviously phenomenal, but if you wanted something else, in that price range, that is already track-ready and packing serious performance, the M3 GTS would be a very solid candidate. For example, if you'd been driving FR cars your entire life or were just a BMW "guy", I think a GTS at ~$10k less than a GT3 (puuuuuurely speculative here) would be a great deal.

The M3 GTS looks especially great in light of the Dinan S3-R stuff that just came out...

I don't like the spoiler much, or the price tag for the car.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a step in the right direction (especially when considering what the M Division has been doing the last while) but I'd have a hard time buying that when I could pick up an R8 or GT3 for a bit more (or less).
