Uh oh. I think i may have screwed up. I read about all the problems with supplied washers with Powerflex rear subframe bushings.
I bought these giant expensive washers from Mc MAsters and the Powerflex bushing too. The bushings came with NO washers. Did i screw up? Is the washer issue for earlier M3's like the E36? I now have a bunch of these honking huge washers. BTW, the Powerflex bushings look sweet. Anyone doing the subframe should get these IMO. I go the street yellows.

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm in process of getting the rear subframe bushings changed as well, and I ordered the Powerflex bushings.
