Sorry. I dont understand. Why wouldn't these fit the vert? It is about using a five point harness isnt it? Or is it just the Schroth that wont fit?

The SEATS should be the same no?

These are designed for E92 and E82 (1 series). I don't have any info on what it would take to put these in an E46 but suspect it would be potentially involved. They definitely are NOT for convertibles as they lack the roll over protection measures BMW puts in convertible seats.

Hope this helps.

There is a wiring kit available from Euro/German BMW dealers (part# 61-12-2-155-580) which supposedly makes the electrical connections plug in correctly. This is not available through US dealers. My understanding is that there is also a programming sequence that must be performed as well, but you would have to find someone with the proper equipment and know-how to make it work. Others have accomplished this, and information is becoming available as these seats trickle into the country.

Hope this helps.

Dan
Correct - there is specific programming for these seats, but only with euro OC3 mats. An alternative would be the Macht Schnell OC3 module for those not located near a programming facility.

Good luck with the sale, these are awesome seats.
