When you say 35w or 55w that makes me think you are talking about halogens. Those don't work with your housing/electronics. The 9006 fits the fog light however.

Replace it with a stock xennon pn: 07119904790. They are about $175 bucks from a dealer.

Wear nitrile gloves when you do it if you want it to last at all. These suckers have thin glass and they get really hot. The glass will crack if you have oil on it.

If you don't know what you are doing have the dealer diagnose your problem since your 175 dollar bulb isn't returnable if it turns out your ballast died and not the bulb.

You can switch them around to see if the other bulb works in the same housing. if it doesn't - it's your ballast. again... wear nitrile gloves.

good luck
Wow I guess that price is per bulb. I'll try and swap sides to make sure. If the ignitor died, is that costly? DIY, or send it to the dealer?

if you replace it.. make sure to get name brand like phillips or bosch xenon bulbs. last year i changed mine to an aftermarket xenon bulb and it died less then one year. luckily the afer market bulb had a 1yr limited warranty. so.. basicly i'll be screwed next year again

but for the record.. my oem xenon has seen daily driving from 11/03 - 5/09 and they still work. i plan to put them back in the car after my after market xenons die.

Hah thanks!

I was leaning towards the lightwerks bulbs, but after some thought, I think I want to just get OEM again.

OEM is almost always the way to go.
