i changed mine at 80K just to make myself feel better lol j/k
I changed this along with the UUC stage II clutch/LWFW mod

its an easy job, if youve done the cdv delete, youve been all around it. literally unbolt, and bolt in.. just ensure the push rod is lined up with the fork, and you bleed it correctly. I had replaced this thinking it was the problem to a dead clutch pedal.. here a clutch with 14k on it separated during fairly normal driving. gave me an excuse to do the cdv del and replace my guibo.

Well turns out it wasn't my slave cylinder, just the flexible hose line.
Of course I find this out AFTER I buy the slave cylinder. Oh well, might as well replace both for piece of mind lol. |

That's interesting. Was the hose coming loose or was it dry-rotted?

Neither, it actually looked to be in great condition but it just simply burst. Not dry rotted, cracking or anything of the sort. One thing worth mentioning though, it burst where it was bent and where it is normally reinforced with a second piece of hose. The small piece was moved down so perhaps that's why.
