Much of what happened in front of Wells’ house was recorded by the camera on the dash of one of the officer’s patrol car. The minute-long dashboard video shows the officer pulling up to assist another officer.

The third-grade teacher can be heard on tape screaming “don’t do that” as a stun gun is heard repeatedly zapping.

Wells told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in an interview, “All of it is just unreal to me. I was scared to death. He kept tasing me. My fingernails are still burned.”

Ryan Smith of the Lumpkin Police Department has resigned and Tim Murphy of Richland Police Department was fired for using pepper spray and a stun gun on the woman.

Good article in GQ about Tasers. It pisses me off when I see cops yelling at the people they're tasering telling them to stop moving while they're getting tased.

In and around Los Angeles, I see bill boards saying join the LA PD. I believe all that is required is a High School education. That's right, only a minimal HS diploma. Even a dumbest of cromagnon humanoids and earlier human ancestor, an outright friggin monkey can get a HS diploma or GED. Lots of these guys are athletes and ex military guys who simply are not suited for dealing with the general public, and it seems like the dumbest of the dumb make it into law enforcement, where those low IQ morons hide behind their badge so they can carry out their agenda of being the king sh*t. Look at this instance, a 57 year old woman getting tazed, or the BART incident where the victim was shot at point blank range in back of the neck with a 40 cal while face down in the ground, and then there are my other favorites where that one cop in NY (I think) during a very low key protest where bicyclist were riding by, a cop steps out and throws a forearm right at the rider's neck (check it out here: http://www.bikeradar.com/news/articl...ass-case-27016) and then the most famous was that really dumb a** cop arresting Dr. Louis Gates, a Ph.D professor from Yale University. The list goes on and on. It ceases to amaze me how the dumbest of the dumb can wield so much authority in our law enforcement system where the general public is supposed to trust them. As Sara Palin has espoused recently (paraphrasing here), perhaps we should find a Second Amendment remedy to our problem.
