If you can live w/o 3G look into some of Samsung's world phones.....got one and love it
I like their world phones, but I'm also a heavy data user, so 3G or greater is a must.

I'll take the 16GB of internal memory over the rear flash and 2GB internal that Verizon's has.

Verizon has the best choice of Android phones: Incredible, Droid 2 (coming soon), Droid X, Galaxy... but your stuck with a CDMA network, which sucks if you travel overseas.

Sprint has the Evo and best Galaxy S, keyboard, front camera and rear flash.

T-mo really only has the galaxy S as a top Android phone (if you don't include Nexus 1) BUT rumor has it that next month they will be releasing a HTC with a dual core chip and keyboard.

ATT really sucks for Android, they try to restrict it on so many levels. But once rooted you can get around most of their BS.

tonight I will snap some night pics using the low light setting... the difference is quite amazing. Also most phone flash's are near useless unless the subject is only a few feet away.

The benchmark improvements with froyo are just insane. Nexus One more than doubles its scores when upgrading from 2.2 from 2.1, CPU scores go up 6 fold.

Moto Shadow = Droid x, Droid 2... but the scores don't add up, they win the overalls due to the IO test (green section). Other benchmarks put the Galaxy on top but the difference is minimal, both are darn powerful and when 2.2 comes.

Completey agree, even mine with a dual LED flash is pretty horrid. Still one of the best camera phones I've seen though

A bit OT but here's some examples:

Vegas out in the desert...

Monte Carlo....

Billagio fountain at night (default mode, no 'night shot' cus I couldn't hold it steady)

With low-lit street, using 'night scene' (you can see the guy that took the shot isn't holding the phone very steady.....something I've learned makes a HUGE difference due to exposure time)

If the Galaxy can take these kind of pics then I might be sold on another phone
