Default subframe repair - how long at the dealer/shop

For those who have had their subframe repaired as part of the settlement, how long did it take to have the work completed?

Also, were you able to get a loaner car from the dealer?

Thanks,

My thread is here: http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=281712

I was out of a car for over a month. This includes the dealer denying the problem and me getting BMW NA involved until I could finally drive the car again.

yeah, i thought about that too. there are not that many LSB's compared to the other colors, but when it comes to this issue there seems to be more than a proportionate amount popping up.

LSB was the launch color. A lot of dealers ordered them, fully optioned. Although you could get them up to 2004, most of them are early models, thus probably higher mileage and more prone to the failure. That's the way I see it. It's obviously not a color thing but an early car/high(er) mileage thing
