Default To those that repaired their subframes themselves, did you replace the bushings?

After spotting a hairline crack on the passenger side front I've decided to install the TMS reinforcement kit. I will be using epoxy and am confident it will work great.

I'm debating on whether or not to replace the subframe bushings as well while I'm in there... The car is an 05 with 46k on it. Did anybody else do this? How did they look?

I did replace the bushings, once you take that pain in the ass subframe out you will not want to have to again so replace everything you can while you can. You may want to look at doing the front diff bushing also.

On a side note at the very least you should weld the cracks before you epoxy the reinforcements in.

Had mine replaced. Mine were in good condition, but as Fern said, might as well have them replaced.

Which diff bushings did you go with, the solid TMS ones?

Ok I'm doing all 4 subframe bushings, RTAB's and diff bushing. It's gonna be a PITA pressing the new OEM bushings in! I've had bad experience with poly subframe bushings on my E36 before.

Unless its a straight track car OEM FTW!
