Default My first Track Day (Pics)

Hello,

I wanted to share this.

This was my first track day with my car... car was flawless, very good on the turns, a little slow on the straight but this is a good track for the M3 with a lot of short sections (2nd and 3rd gear), I was looking foward to see my tires, suspension and brakes behavior, they did not dissapoint me but I still have a lot to learn.

My car:

Looks awesome! I can't wait to hit the track. Just picked mine up last month. What event was that? NASA, SCCA?

Were you driving solo for your 1st event? No instructor?

That's right... my brother (Porsche GT3) knows the track he gave me a couple of laps to show me the course first.

I guess it's all relative, but usually people (myself included) think the other way around!

Looks like a lot of great cars out there - yours isn't looking too bad either Having a good instructor, if available, can help big time too

Well this was my first experience... So my impressions can change in the future.

One time I was chasing a mustang v8, my car was seriously faster in the turns but in the straight he beat me by a five cars length. I know his car has almost 100hp more than my car so no argument there.
