keep in mind the 1 bolt that holds the bracket of the tranny mounts was rethreaded and a new bolt that was not OEM was put in to spec. I don't know how a part designed to prevent vibration to the driveline and tranny would cause a transfer case to shift or a gear to pop out.
Well clearly I'm no expert

I think I'm confused on which bolt that had the issue. I was under the impression it was the mount itself. My fault.

Sorry, it was the retaining bolt as seen in the upper left of this pic:

no worries either way. Since I was under the car and was the first to notice it I felt very responsible and made a few calls this morning and they said not to worry about it. As it may have just been a mis shift or just a fluke. No faults. Just didn't want you to think I was being rude.

I totally understand B. If I can help put it back in or in any way I'm down the second you call. I just hate when something doesn't go to plan.

Sure, if you've got the time. Sorry about all the trouble. I'm curious to see what these updated bolts look like compared to the old ones.

Yeah, I am hoping it was just a mis shift or a random deal. It hasn't done it since, and it was right after I shifted to the gear and let out the clutch. I'm hoping I just didn't throw it in gear all the way before letting out the clutch.

We can knock it out... probably can just get it up on the ramps and do the swap pretty quickly.

I've got a scheduled delivery date of 8/26 for the bolts, so we're all set.
