Well it's official. Had my M3 dyno tuned here in Atlanta by TopSpeed, topspeedtuned.com.
My list of mods are limited to: K&N drop-in filter JVT headers JIC rear exhaust I had replaced my spark plugs, fuel filter, belts, and engine oil in preparation for some software. Car was dyno tuned on a DynoJet with ambient temperature at 85 degrees. Baseline is shown on the included graph at a max of 280whp,with a final at 302whp What impresses me the most is the power increase up top at 8000rpm...a now even 300whp vs stock 266whp!!!! Very excited to drive it more to experience the new found power. Especially once the temps drop this fall, should pick up 5-10whp. If you're near the Atlanta area I encourage you to take a hard look at TS considering they are pricing their ecu tune very competitively to all other ecu flashes. The great bonus to local guys is no down time. |

5-10 from weather? I like being optimistic but that won't happen.
But great numbers man. 300 is hard to achieve for many

How was the car tuned? A generic "one size fits all" or custom tuned? What tuning software are they using?

We use absolutely no flash "generic " tunes. Every tune is a custom DME tune from the raw file. The whole tune is done on the dyno then checked on the street to make sure its perfect.
We have access to the entire DME, and edit it accordingly. Hope this helps. |
