Default need help with a very minor hood adjustment.

the front passenger side corner of my hood is a hair out of height alignment - it sits about a half an inch higher than it should. The issue is only on the passenger side. All of the body gaps and even the driver side are perfect. I was wondering if there is anyway to adjust the hood a little bit to bring the passenger side corner down a little bit. thank you!

its just a hood adjustment after the installation of a new headlight.

The hood should not need adjustment after the installation of a headlight. I just removed my passenger side headlight to replace a bad ignotor and it had no effect at all upon the hood setup.

If the hood is sitting high then the headlight is improperly installed and the hood must be hitting it when closed.

Are you sure you didn't leave a tool sitting in the engine bay that the hood could be hitting? I've done that before. As stated before the headlight shouldn't have changed the hood alignment so make sure that is installed correctly. If the headlight looks good then there is a bumper that the hood hits. You can just turn it with your hand to adjust the gap.

i have adjusted those hood bumpers without any change. THe hood (just to the side of the passenger side kidney grill) is making contact with the trim piece under the passenger side headlamp. THe headlamp is definitely not aligned perfectly and that is the cause of the hood issue. How can I adjust the headlamp itself?

Did this issue ever get resolved, OP? (am having a similar issue myself - quick adjustment of rubber bumper stop isn't fixing the prob).
