That's cool that they are keeping the M3 name. It would be weird to call it M4. Doesn't sound right.

The E92 M is gonna be unreal, but it will have to be, the 997 is lapping the 'ring VERY close to the 996 GT3.

(Yes, yes, I know about the even/odd, coupe/sedan appointment.)

About the "advanced" lubrification system... what would that be? I wouldn't be surprized if they use Porsche's dry-sump lubrification...

I hope the next M3 comes with a stick shift option, otherwise I'm defecting to Porsche or Audi. It's cool that they're keeping the moniker though. IMO, the M3 is already an icon of American culture (if not world culture) that they gotta keep the tradition alive.

if the M5, as it is being rumoured, is ONLY going to be in the SMGIII than I doubt any other new M will be offered in a manual... they're totally going to phase it out...

and i'd rather drive a yugo than an audi...
