Feeler: Custom Tune Event in DFW
Hey guys,
Is anybody interested in a custom tune from http://www.topspeedtuned.com/services.htm in Atlanta? The guy says he'll bring his tuner to DFW if we can set it up. "We would be happy to do travel tuning if there is a local shop with a dyno they would let us use. We do LOTS of out of state and some out of country tuning for customers and other business' If you could get a small group of cars together I would have no problem flying him out." Nobody? hmmm.
What about Secret Services in Houston? It appears they can do it but might not have as much experience, especially on M's. |

Doug Wilks is the tuner at topspeedtuned. His car won the 2010 One Lap. If we can get 2-3 interested peeps he's willing to travel. Anybody?

What do you need for a tuning? I'm guessing some kind of aftermarket ECU or something? What are the costs?

No aftermarket anything required. We'd just need a place with a dyno to volunteer to host the event. Doug would fly in from Atlanta and tune our cars right on the dyno.
Supposedly topspeeds prices for a dyno tune are very competitive with all the canned tunes out there. |

I would be interested depending on price. My friends shop in Houston is getting a Dyno sometime this month or next and he might would be willing to host it, its already paid for and he is waiting for them to finish it and install it. I can ask if anyone is interested.
