Good to know

These wheels should save a few pounds in rotating, unsprung weight.

According to this guy's measurements, the rear RGR's (18x10 et25) are 21.2lbs, a bit more than I've seen advertised. Still less than the ~26lb oem rears.

If remember correctly I think I saved about 6-8 pounds per corner. This is compared to the oem 19 wheels.

Also, do you guys notice a performance (acceleration and handling agility) increase with the lighter wheels?
this was the best modification I ever made to that car (it's Norm's car now)

the tires were OEM sizes 225/255's, I'm pretty sure the offsets were 8.5" et38f 10" et25r? whatever the correct M3 fittment is, and I only had eibach prokit springs. I immediately noticed a huge difference in the way the car drove, handling was more nimble, ride was more compliant, really I could not have been happier with the results of this wheel/tire combo, I believe I went through 6 different sets of wheels and tires in the time I had that car and this was by far my favorite (I had RAC monolites at one time as well and they were my least favorite for driveability). I also got the most compliments on these wheels when they were on the car.

According to their website, BBS does make a 9.0 et45 with a 72.56 centerbore.

Not real fond of spacers, but it could be done.

Yeah, I'm aware of that size. I'd prefer to stay away from spacers if at all possible. I find it funny that Dinan wheels require a spacer, and they're supposed to be custom for the M3. I asked the engineer why, and he said because of the forging machine limitations, they used could not make the right offset.

Especially odd because the Dinan wheels are made in the same factory on the same line, using the same processes as the RAC wheels.... and RACs staggered wheels, except the RS110s, are all 9" front, 10" rear-- same as the Dinan's sizes, only with correct offsets.

Yeah, some of their products make you wonder. The exhaust tips I can understand. As much as I don't like the idea, it makes the most sense from an engineering standpoint.

Anyway, what about RGR color for a Jet Black car? Since I've got the grills blacked out and will eventually get light tint, I was thinking Diamond Black to go with the darker theme. Silver seems to be the more popular choice though.
