Anyway, what about RGR color for a Jet Black car? Since I've got the grills blacked out and will eventually get light tint, I was thinking Diamond Black to go with the darker theme. Silver seems to be the more popular choice though.
Personally, I'd go with the silver color for a black car.

Dark wheels for light cars, light wheels for dark cars!

ImolarotII, that's not my car - just one I found on google images.

I have always been looking for these wheels used, but as mentioned it's hard to come by. One set I found for $1800+shipping, but they were painted black. Another set for $2300 had some minor rash and were 9.5" rears. Another set for $2500 had the wrong front offset and minor rash.

I can't really decide what looks better - the 19's sure are nice, but they can look out of proportion on some cars, while the 18's do look a bit small but still good. From a performance and cost standpoint, 18's are the way to go. It's a tough decision.

Thanks again and more pics are welcome
in my opinion the 19in rgr's look alot better

also even tho your car is dark i would still go with the diamond black color it just looks soo sweet, i believe member mugen22 or something have cb with 19in diamond black rgr's look him up (if i got the name right)

Id probably prefer the bright silver finish on your car but you cant go wrong with diamond black either.

Honestly, I used to feel that way... but now I think it's what you're used to. Having been on 18s for about a year now, 19s look really out of place to me on M3s now. Even if they didn't, though.... the objective benefits of the 18s are more than worth it.

I don't blame you; not a fan of spacers myself.
With the 8.5" wide wheel you have a number of tire width options that meet the basic rim spec:
225/45/18, 235/40/18, 245/40/18, and even 255/40/18.

So, your note earlier about 245/255 would work just fine.
I've run 245/40/18 with 265/35/18, and that combo felt pretty good.

Yeah, I have considered all those sizes, and they do fall within the manufacturer recommended rim widths. With 245/255 on 8.5/10 rims, the fronts will be more 'meaty' and the rears will be more 'stretched'. It is slightly noticeable visually, but I question how it affects driving characteristics. I would think a more stretched front tire if anything would give more precise steering. Or, maybe it doesn't even matter!

Bbs has a fitment guide on their site that should tell you-- you specify which car, wheels, and brakes you have, they tell you if it'll fit.
