wasn't all fogs clear until facelift came? My 01 and 02 had clear OEM fogs and my 04 has the other gay lenses.

I had the same thing happen to me when I went the ebay route, only one showed up cracked. But yeah, the knob was on backwards too.
I bought a pair of depos from a forum member, and they installed without any issues.
