Default SMG Dynapack Issue

Any SMG owner out there ever tried dyno with Dynapack chassis dyno? I tried it today but the car won't shift above 2nd gear. We already put the car in dyno mode via autologic but still didn't work. We ended up just dyno'd in 2nd gear. Anyone ever experienced this or know how to solve this issue?

DSC off maybe? Good luck. Let us know if you figured it out.

We turned off the DSC as well. At first I thought it was due to Dinan software, but another stock E46 SMG had the same issue.

we started the car, activate dyno mode via autologic then turned out DSC. How do you turn off DSC before starting the car?

I was reading on here, and there a process before u start the motor, with the key in the accessory position, if that makes sense.

Did you turn off DSC just with a quick push or by holding it? You need to hold it for 8-10 secs (thereabouts) to turn it off for the dyno. If you hold it for too long it goes into 'stuck switch' mode tho.

Cheers

I wonder if turning on the sport mode would help...

do you mean one of these procedures? I believe they only work on pre-'03 SMG

Yup, we did the press and hold DSC for few seconds to turn it off completely.

I doubt sport mode would make a difference, all it does is change the throttle mapping, but (clutching at straws...) what about the SMG program and, in fact were you changing gears with a few revs on? On the road mine won't go out of second unless I'm above about 2500, particularly when it's cold.

Cheers

Yeah! I'm pretty sure those are for pre 03. We tried a similar process, that were somewhat similar but it still didn't work.
