LOL pls confirm. zomg
the message is authentic captain. I concur

I said that the napa mount is a good mount...

and suggested the OEM stock mounts last 3 months(which is a bit of exaggeration for the most part but not entirely untrue). The oem design is so stupid/silly and the rubber breaks easily if you have a stock system.

aftermarket (lighter) set ups seem to allow it to hold up much more. that napa mount is great. its stronger and cheaper. that said. im still running an oem set up(with two broken rubber hangers) but my muffler is not stock(its lighter) so its ok..for now.

I don't recall anyone asking you to confirm the authenticity of your post. Your post was too easily interupted in the opposite way you wrote it. It would of been much easier to follow up with this last reply.

Now that that's figured out...

If you want OEM; www.realbmwparts.com is now the cheaper source over www.getbmwparts.com
What is this? So instead of the mounts absorbing shock/movement, it transfers to fatigue of yet another part of the chassis?

All those crusty bimmers you see driving with the exhaust mounts so badly broken that the diffuser is melted... those "chassis" are just fine. Rust is more of an issue than this mount.

The only draw back to these mounts is the additional transfer of vibration. Those with aftermarket exhaust would benefit the most from these as it will put the rear canister is a tighter position.

I completely agree with Braymond. From and engineering standpoint, these mounts appear to be very sturdy and solid. During acceleration the only thing that would create the movement in the exhaust would be whatever is transferred from the engine. If these tuck the exhaust up nice and tight there should be no issues. I am willing to give them a try.
