Well I picked up a set of those Depo today and I have only good things to say so far.

I went through 3 pairs of Eagle Eyes prior to those so I think I'm in a position to make a fair comparaison:

Problems with Eagle eyes:
1) black "eyeliner" look all around the tail light make it look not OEM
2) reflective chrome (in blinker 'compartment' of the light) matte on one tail, chrome and shiny on another.
3) gigantic and heavy resistors
4) resistors held by crappy double sided tape that gives away after a few weeks
5) back cover is a PITA
6) gotta take time to adjust the tail light to line up nicely with trunk lid and trunk light
7) LEDs randomly burn or die (on my first two pairs, third pair was another problem)

With the Depos:
1) no problem, look OEM
2) no problem
3) resistors are small and light!
4) resistors have a tab with a hole so you can bolt them to one of the tail light studs (pic)
Big plus if you track your car, the eagle eye resistors always fell off
5) no back cover. The hardware is smaller and cleaner looking, looks just fine with no cover IMHO
6) just bolted those in and they lined up perfect!
7) can't comment on that yet, time will tell

Overall: The Depos are much MUCH better

Thanks for the review Kevin. I am going to test these out as well. I was going to buy OEM, but it may be worth it to give these a shot.

Thanks for taking the time to post your review, it's great to see a quality LED taillamp finally on the market.

Thanks for that review...i had the EE tails and i hated them...those stupid large resistors fell off when quick...and tracking the car they just bounce around...also the back cover was never secure..

I was gonna get some OEM led tails but I might give these a shot as well.

EAS - How long are the tails going to be at the listed price shipped?

me too! I will try em out vs. spending the money on OEM right now. DEPOs overall seem to make much better quality lamps than most of the A/M.

Not sure, but definitely throughout the holiday weekend.

Yeah I was also gonna get some OEM ones after having such a bad experience with the Eagle Eyes. Glad that there's another alternative now

Mr. Wolfe, here's a quick cellphone snapshot:

Mind you it rained the night before so there's a film of dirt over the whole car, incl. the lights.
